Creative writing is a genre that I have always thought would lead me to my future career goal. Although my future aspirations fall within the field of journalism — creative writing, however, has allowed me to create stories based on prompts and to be able to find inspiration from something that I once deemed as insignificant. These essays have been created based off momentary thoughts that prompted a story idea.

Mental Health. University is a trying time for many incoming students. It is a transition that is often difficult to cope with and sometimes some students don’t make it past year one.

Imagine going to the most bustling restaurant in your hometown. You see a sweet elderly couple exchanging sweet words and a slice of cheesecake. You can’t help but miss that special someone.
